‘Tracker’ Season 2 Starting Production Soon: What To Expect
Tracker fans should be thrilled to know that Season 2 is starting production soon. The star of the series Justin Hartley, who portrays reward seeker Colter Shaw, and the show’s official Instagram have already shared their excitement for the upcoming season. They wrote, “We can’t wait for Season 2 💚.”
Thankfully, fans don’t have to wait much longer either. According to the industry site, Creative BC, the series starts production on July 16. This will continue until April 22, 2025. What should fans of the number one show on television know about the upcoming season? Here are some clues.
Colter Shaw Will Turn To His Mother To Learn More About His Father’s Death In Tracker Season 2
Fans are ready for a full season of the smash CBS hit adventure series Tracker. However, no one is more excited than the star, Justin Hartley. He spoke to Deadline about Season 2 and some of the storylines that fans should look forward to exploring. Firstly, Season 1 ended in a cliffhanger that has raised more questions about Colter’s father’s death. How was his family involved?
Justin Hartley explained that now that Colter has spent more time with Russell, his talent for “reading people” comes into play. But, in the finale, when he realizes that his sister Dory has not been straight with him. What secrets is she keeping from him? The Young and The Restless alum feels that the first season ended with some good questions to lead into Season 2.
I think we did a good job of making sure that the answers to those questions then lead to a bigger mystery, something we can unpack in Season 2.

When Does Tracker Season 2 Premiere?
Although CBS has not officially announced the Tracker Season 2 premiere date, they have announced the show’s day and time. Justin Hartley’s hit series will air on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern. This is an hour earlier than the official Season 1 time, although the network often aired new episodes an hour early. This confused fans, but they seemed to be testing this timeslot out for the 2024-2025 season.
