Justin Hartley’s new series Tracker has been a huge success. Based on the Jeffrey Deaver novel The Never Game, this series has drawn in new viewers every week thanks to great acting and fantastic writing.
Therefore, will CBS renew the series for Season 2?
On Monday, Deadline reported that CBS has renewed Tracker for Season 2. This is very early in the viewing season, but this series has been the top premiere since Young Sheldon over seven years ago.
President of CBS Entertainment, Amy Reisenbach, shared how this series has performed so well. “Tracker kicked off our premiere week with a ratings band and has kept the momentum going.”

How Many Episodes Of Tracker Season 1 Are There?
So far, CBS has aired four episodes of Tracker Season 1. Each episode title is based on the location where Hartley’s character Colter Shaw does his search. Because Season 1 started in February, how many episodes will there be?
According to IMDb, there will be 13 episodes in this shortened season. Although CBS announced the renewal, they did not share how many episodes there will be for Tracker Season 2. Unless there is another strike, it is presumed that there will be a full season’s worth of episodes ranging from 20-24 episodes starting next fall.
