‘SEAL Team’ Final Season Release Date, Trailer
SEAL Team is returning for one final season, and it promises to be an emotional ride. The show has been on the bubble for a few seasons, but star David Boreanaz has helped fight for its survival, and it has now received one final season, which should wrap up its stories. The trailer and release date have now hit for this final season.
Here is what you need to know about the final SEAL Team season.
SEAL Team Final Season Release Date
SEAL Team premiered in September 2017 on CBS. The series stars David Boreanaz (Angel, Bones) as Jason Hayes, the leader of a Navy SEAL team (known as Bravo Team). When the series started, the team was dealing with losing one of their own.
The series faced changes in its fifth season when CBS moved it off the schedule mid-season. It ended up heading to the network’s streaming service, Paramount+, where it finished its fifth season and aired its sixth. However, when Paramount+ renewed the show for a seventh season, it announced it would be the final season.
This gave the showrunners time to come up with a fitting ending so it wouldn’t end up with an unresolved cliffhanger at the end, like other recently canceled shows like NCIS: Hawai’i.
The final season of SEAL Team premieres on August 11 on Paramount+. The final season includes 10 episodes, which brings the show’s total count to 102.
SEAL Team Season 7 Trailer
The SEAL Team final season trailer is also out and it looks like things are changing for Bravo Team and things are going to be as dangerous as ever. It also looks like most team members will decide between their family and their need to keep fighting.
David Boreanaz (Jason Hayes), Neil Brown Jr. (Ray Perry), AJ Buckley (Sonny Quinn), and Toni Trucks (Lisa Davis) are all back as series regulars. Raffi Barsoumian (Omar Hamza), who joined in season 6, is also on board for the final season.
The trailer also features Judd Lormand (Blackburn), Alona Tal (Clay’s widow Stella), and Jessica Paré (Mandy). Beau Knapp will join the cast as a new series regular named Drew Franklin, a Chief Petty Officer with a checkered history. This means he should fit right in with the other “problem child members” on the team. Dylan Walsh is also back as Captain Walch, DEVGRU’s recently appointed Commanding Officer.
This season should also mark the end of SEAL Team. A movie based on the series was in development, but Paramount+ has since canceled it. There are also no plans for a spinoff series, and David Boreanaz is already reportedly working on a new series.
