Before WCTH Season 11 ended, Hallmark announced that they renewed the long-running series for Season 12 on May 10. Deadline shared a statement from Lisa Hamilton Daly, the EVP of Programming for Hallmark Media. “When Calls The Heart continues to exceed our expectations and the number of fans and viewers continues to grow every year.”
Bringing Season 12 to life is a huge milestone and is a true testament to the cast and crew’s hard work and dedication throughout the last decade. We cannot wait for Hope Valley’s next chapter full of exciting characters and storytelling.

When Will WCTH Season 12 Premiere?
When should Hearties expect to see WCTH Season 12? There is no set time. After years of early spring premieres, Hallmark made a change in 2023. They aired their hit series The Way Home first and waited until late July for the Season 10 premiere. Thankfully, Season 11 premiered in the spring after The Way Home.
Therefore, it is anyone’s guess when Hallmark will premiere Season 12. However, they usually start to tease early in the year.

When Calls The Heart Season 12 Starts Production Soon
The best news of all is that WCTH Season 12 starts production soon. The cast and crew will converge on the Jamestown Film Set outside Vancouver, BC, Canada. Filming will be completed in early November. This upcoming season will include the cliffhanger conclusion. In addition, the romance between Elizabeth and Nathan will continue. However, the result of the cliffhanger could dampen their love story.
Next, showrunner Lindsay Sturman has revealed that Chris McNally’s character Lucas Bouchard will continue to face challenges and continue to do what he can for the people of Hope Valley. He may even have a romance.
