Hearties have been talking a lot about Daniel Lissing since the WCTH Season 11 finale cliffhanger. Now, Hallmark is sharing the First Look Video for the upcoming Countdown To Christmas movie Santa Tell Me reuniting Daniel Lissing with Erin Krakow.
Dan and Erin starred in When Calls The Heart together for the first five years of the series. Their characters Elizabeth Thatcher and Jack Thornton flirted and fell in love during this time. Moreover, they had a spectacular wedding. Because Daniel decided to leave the series, his character was tragically killed off. But, Elizabeth was pregnant with her son Little Jack.
But, for years, fans of the series have wanted these two stars to reunite. Now, they have. Best of all, there is a quick peek into this new movie.

Hallmark Releases First Look Video For Santa Tell Me
On Sunday, Hallmark released the First Look Video For the upcoming Countdown To Christmas movie Santa Tell Me. It is the big city. A man and a woman portrayed by Daniel Lissing and Erin Krakow go into the big city, a glass office building and there is Santa. Santa says, “May I say you to make such a lovely couple.” They look at each other puzzled.
Next, they are smiling next to each other. The snow is falling around them. Then there is another scene where they are walking by Santa again. He says, “Felt weird to correct him.” She responds, “I mean he’s Santa. He’s supposed to know these things.”
Speaking to TV Insider, Erin Krakow shared some insight into this movie. Firstly, these characters mirror their WCTH characters with some “similarities.” “When we first started Season 1 of When Calls The Heart, Jack and Elizabeth were very much oil and water, strong-headed individuals who just had a hard time seeing eye-to-eye, and there’s a lot of that in this Christmas movie.”
Then she added, “It takes our characters some time to really see and appreciate each other for what we really are.”

Will Daniel Lissing Be Returning To WCTH?
Many Hallmark fans are talking about the possibility of Daniel Lissing reprising his role as Jack Thornton in WCTH Season 12. Is that possible? Not according to the series showrunner Lindsay Sturman. She spoke to TV Guide about this. “Jack is not coming back, but we did want to keep his memory alive.”
However, it is not clear if Lissing could return to film some flashback scenes.
