‘Bachelor’ Matt James Under Pressure To Propose?
Bachelor Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell are still going strong. He chose her at the final rose ceremony during his season. They split for a bit due to some controversy created by old photos she had on social media. Once they reconnected and got over that hump they have been together ever since. They have been together so long that fans continue to ask Matt when he is going to propose. Does this make him feel like he’s under a lot of pressure to move things along? Does Bachelor Matt James Feel Pressure To Pop The Question
Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell have been together since his season aired in 2021. They had a brief break but that didn’t last long. Fans really want these two to get married. They are often asked if there are plans to get engaged anytime soon. Does Matt feel pressure with so many people asking him about it?
US Weekly caught up with Matt to see what he had to say about proposing to Rachael. Matt says that he really doesn’t feel any pressure. He shared that he and Rachael are doing great and they just continue to do things their way on their own time.
He said, “We’re doing great. I feel like when you feel pressure, it’s when you don’t wanna do something. So I’ve never really felt pressure [to get engaged] because it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. And it’s something that we’re gonna do at some point. That’s why we’re together and what we’re working toward. I’m excited about our future.”
So, fans rest assured at some point it is coming.
He Has To Think Outside The Box
Matt James also said that when he does decide to propose to Rachael he will have to think outside the box. He revealed that she is very intuitive and also asks a million questions. She needs a reason why they are doing something.
When the time comes he said, “I’ll have to think outside the box. I’ll have to stretch the truth on why we’re doing something.”
Matt also shared that if he could go back and give his younger self advice he would have something to say but overall he has no regrets. He said, “I would say just enjoy the process. It’s gonna be crazy, but just trust yourself.”
