‘GH’ Alum Ryan Paevey Appears To Apologize To Hallmark In New IG Video
General Hospital alum Ryan Paevey’s issues with the acting world have taken a turn. In a new Instagram video, the popular actor has seemingly publicly apologized to the Hallmark Channel. What misunderstanding seemed to make him disillusioned with the acting world?

Ryan Paevey Appears To Apologize To The Hallmark Channel
Recently, Ryan Paevey had gone to IG Stories to share his frustration with his chosen profession, and to share that he will not be part of the list of celebrities at the RomaDrama Halloween & Harvest Festival. However, on Wednesday, he felt the need to apologize and clarify some details. This is what he said in this new Instagram post.
I have to rectify something. The last time I did a Live, we were talking about films that were being rerun and I said that I didn’t earn residuals on those. I’ve since been educated by my team and by my union. So, I have to tell you guys that was my mistake. We do earn residuals.
Ryan then shared more details on how his contract works. He does receive residuals, but those were all given in advance.
The nature of my employment was unique because we are in contract. And that’s kind of a unique thing in the industry. I didn’t understand the way that the things were broken down, the way we earn residuals. When you are in a contract, there is a significant percentage of it that counts as an advance against residuals when films are rerun. And I did not understand this structure. So what I said was inaccurate. So that was my mistake.
While the General Hospital alum did not name the network, all of his movies since Unleashing Mr. Darcy have been with the Hallmark Channel. Therefore, fans may assume that his confusion about residuals has to do with his contracts with the feel-good network. But, he did not name Hallmark. It just appears that he apologized about his misunderstanding with them.
However, he has not revealed whether he will be making another movie with Hallmark anytime soon. He has stated on several occasions that he is still waiting on news about starring in a movie. Last year, there were dueling strikes with members of WGA and SAG-AFTRA both striking.

Actor Has No Plans To Return To General Hospital
There are many fans who have followed Ryan Paevey from General Hospital to Hallmark. Could he be returning to the ABC soap anytime soon. That does not seem likely. The actor who played Nathan West on the soap has repeatedly stated he has no plans to return.
