‘America’s Got Talent’ Scheduling Shakeup Has Fans Livid
Fans are worried about missing their favorite judges in the upcoming season of America’s Got Talent. The show has had a sudden schedule change that has viewers wondering when they will be able to tune in again. A couple of the judges announced the switch-up on Instagram this week. America’s Got Talent Goes On Hiatus For Olympics
A photo posted on the America’s Got Talent Instagram page showed judges Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel on the AGT set. The pair were wearing U.S.A. Olympic pullovers to show their support for the American team.
In the caption, the show wrote, “Watch some of the best athletes in the country compete to make Team USA until #AGT returns June 25. Don’t miss the U.S. Olympic Team Trials starting tomorrow on @nbc and streaming on @peacock.”
Fans flocked to the comments to express their disappointment with the scheduling switch-up. One person simply wrote, “Noooooo!!!” Another person commented, “I WILL MISS Uuuu All @simoncowell.”
A third fan chimed in talking about one of this season’s acts. “Rhythm is [the] best dog act in AGT history,” they wrote.
Last week, viewers got to see Roni and her adorable dog Rhythm. The America’s Got Talent contestant shared her story and it touched the judges as well as fans at home.
Roni & Her Dancing Dog Rhythm Compete On AGT
During an interview, before she took the stage for her audition, Roni shared that she and her mom used to take in stray dogs when she was growing up. After nursing them back to health, they would find the dogs a forever home.
Eventually, she decided that she wanted to do something with dogs as a career. Roni said, “I was [thinking], ‘What can you do with dogs?’ and that was how I discovered dog therapy. How to use dogs to help people.”
Then, in 2022, she adopted her dog Rhythm. “He makes my dreams come true,” she said. “It’s so much fun to have a partner that wants it as much as you want it.”
During their performance, Roni and Rhythm danced around the stage together. At certain points, the dog would jump into its owner’s arms, jump into the air, do flips, twist through Roni’s legs, and even balance on two legs.
Their act won praise from Simon Cowell, who is typically hard to please. “Rhythm is the most beautiful dog. I actually fell in love,” Cowell said about the duo.
As mentioned above, America’s Got Talent will return on June 25. The judges will continue to search for the next $1 million AGT winner at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
