Karen Derrico Collapses In Front Of Family, Shocking Preview
Doubling Down With the Derricos is back on TLC for a new season. This week a shocking preview for Tuesday night’s episode was released and reveals Karen Derrico is in trouble. The family is heading to the mountains of Mt. Charleston for some snow and skiing when things suddenly go south. Karen collapsed in front of her family leaving everyone in a panic. What happened? Karen Derrico Collapses, What’s Wrong?
Entertainment Tonight has the clip of what fans will see go down on Tuesday night. The family finally arrived at their destination only to have trouble strike. One of the twins, Dallas, suddenly starts yelling for Deon saying “Mommy’s hurt.” Deon turns toward where Dallas and Karen are to see producers helping Karen onto the ground. It appears she collapsed and luckily someone was standing nearby to assist her.
Before Deon can get to Karen’s side, GG rushes over to her. Deon asks her what is wrong and she quietly says her heart is beating real fast.
Karen appears to be very lethargic and Deon says the same thing. She says she wants to go to sleep and that she feels very weak. As Deon helped Karen to the car to try and get her to drink something, the production team called for an ambulance.
Deon talks to the cameras saying, “All the thoughts that I’m having: Did she have a heart attack? Did she have a stroke? Maybe she was dehydrated. Maybe it’s a high elevation. I don’t know what the hell it is. Whatever the problem is, I don’t want any of our children to see her like this.”
Fans will have to tune in to find out what exactly is going on with Karen.
News Of Their Divorce
Doubling Down With the Derricos fans were shocked last week to learn that Deon and Karen Derrico filed for divorce. The couple has 14 children together with their oldest being 18.
The Derricos are splitting custody of the children and did issue a statement. In their joint statement, they said, “Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children—their well-being is our priority. We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.”
Currently, the future of their TLC show is unknown. Will it continue to film after the divorce?
