Last month, the Counting On alum celebrated Gunnner’s first birthday. “Soaking up these days… Gunner had a great first birthday filled with LOTS of kisses and “happy birthday!” from Gideon & Evelyn! Joy-Anna even uploaded a vlog featuring Jim Bob and Michelle’s visit to celebrate the special day of their grandson. Many are also glad that the Duggar family patriarch is still in touch with his daughter despite her decision to step away from their beliefs.

Joy-Anna Rushes Gunner To Hospital, Feared For His Life

In a YouTube post, Joy-Anna uploaded a 23-minute vlog featuring their camping day. The Counting On alum shared some of their activities, such as playing on a massive trampoline and driving an ATV. But the vlog turned sideways as the married couple rushed Gunner to the hospital. According to Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth, they were having lunch during their camping trip when she decided to feed Gunner small chunks of the ham she was eating.

However, Gunner choked, and things got scary. Joy-Anna handed her son to Austin and performed the proper steps to treat the child. Joy-Anna confessed that she was so stressed mentally and physically. But she knew that the best choice was to hand her choking son to her husband. Joy-Anna ended her vlog by saying that Gunner is fine and is now recovering. Meanwhile, some commenters sympathize with the mother of three following her traumatic experience.
