According to the former Counting On star, she and Austin turned against the rule about married couples having as many kids as possible. The ninth Duggar child continued to neglect some of their traditions, especially regarding dress codes. She has also done activities with Austin that are against the IBLP, such as taking dance classes. But despite her decision, Joy-Anna continues to assure fans that she’s still in touch and loved by the Duggar family.

They opened tons of gifts from family and friends. But what caught the attention of many was Jim Bob Duggar’s appearance at his grandson’s party.
The Duggar family patriarch has been out of sight for quite some time. Due to this, some commenters think he’s making a “PR move,” especially with all the recent unusual activities of his children. Jana even returned to social media after two years of hiatus, creating speculation that Jim Bob is trying to distract people from something big.
