‘AGT’ Champion Darci Lynne Blows Fans Away
America’s Got Talent champion Darci Lynne has impressed fans again. The young woman won Season 12 of the reality competition series and proved on the show that she had more than one talent. Her singing, specifically with an ABBA song, has everyone talking again.

Darci Lynne Delivers Perfect ABBA Cover
Darci Lynne, 19, is a multi-time America’s Got Talent performer, and while she got her start as a singing ventriloquist, she has proven that she is a great singer with or without puppets. She proved that with a social media post this week.
Accompanying herself on piano, Lynne sang a stripped-down version of the ABBA song “The Winner Takes It All.” She captioned the video, “ABBA truly gave us a gift with this song!!!” She also wore a shirt that promoted fellow singer Noah Kahan.
Fans flocked to the comments to praise Lynne for her singing talent and performance.

Who Is Darci Lynne From America’s Got Talent?
When Darci Lynne appeared on America’s Got Talent for the first time, she was a ventriloquist. The Edmond, Oklahoma native actually got her start on Little Big Shots when she was 12, where she sang with her cowgirl puppet, Katie. She then competed on America’s Got Talent Season 12 when she was 13 with her puppet Petunia, once again singing.

Mel B gave her the golden buzzer for her performance while her mom watched from the side stage, sending her to the quarterfinals. The act was one of the most viewed in the show’s history at that time. She performed with the mouse puppet Oscar and the puppet Edna Doorknocker.
Lynne won the season with the most votes out of any finals performer in history. This led to an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017, TODAY in 2018, and then a performance at the Grand Ole Opry in 2018. She then returned to America’s Got Talent in 2019 and then as a guest in 2020.
In America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League in 2024, she returned and, for the first time, performed without a puppet. She reached the end but was eliminated before the final three in the semifinals.

When Darci sang Summertime on AGT I was frozen soaking every word and note in. Wow. It was gorgeous. Have always hoped she would sing more and now the Abba cover. What a talent she is! We need more!
