Kris Jenner Criticizes Kourtney Over Rocky’s Nursery
During The Kardashians, Kris Jenner isn’t exactly an expert in parenting, but she has a great deal of experience. When Kourtney Kardashian shows her Rocky Thirteen Barker’s nursery, she is quick to judge the arrangements.
Getting Everything Ready
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian were spending a little “pre-baby bonding time” together. Kourtney pulls on Kris’ heartstrings by asking, “Are you sad that you’ll never be pregnant again?” In response, Kris tears up and says, “Don’t make me cry.” Reminiscing, she says, “Pregnancy was my most beautiful experience, especially my first one.” Referring to the special moments of carrying Kourtney. She sentimentally says, “My little pepper. Well yeah, you turned out really spicy. I wasn’t counting on that.” Kourtney shared the updated living status with her and Travis Barker. Immediately after Kourtney shows Kris around the new setup for Rocky Thirteen Barker, she finds something alarming. However, Kris was swift to express that it is “not normal.” Notably, Kris has raised six kids and is fairly familiar with the process of bringing an infant home.
Kris Jenner Takes The Tour Of Kourtney’s New Arrangements
In October 2023, when the episode was filmed, Kourtney Kardashian was ready to burst. Her little Rocky Thirteen was just about to make his debut. While preparing for the baby, the Kardashian-Barkers were also transitioning their living situation. Giving Kris Jenner a tour of the freshly Halloween-decorated house, Kourtney shows her the living space arranged for Rocky’s nursery.
Kourtney shows Kris and explains, “Everything that needs to be over at Travis’ is there and we just had the baby’s closet built out so that he has a cute little closet.” In Kourtney’s confessional interview, she says, “And yeah, I’m just excited to organize and put away all of his clothes.” Kris takes the tour in stride, sharing the precious moments with her daughter as she gets ready for their newest member. She helps her arrange the closet with all the baby things in freshly purchased baskets. But then Kris sees something questionable incorporated in the room that sets off all the “mom alarms” for her.
Kris Jenner Can’t Help But Criticize Kourtney Over Rocky’s Nursery
While Kris Jenner wasn’t saying much during the tour of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s space, she just couldn’t resist when they reached Rocky’s room. As the cameras scan the area, Kris questions, “Wait, you have a drum set?” Critically, commenting in disbelief, “Where the baby sleeps?” Kourtney nonchalantly answers, “Yep.” Reiterating her disapproval, Kris slights Kourtney, “This is not normal Kourtney.”
But Kourtney isn’t phased by her mom’s judgment. She states, “He’s gonna get used to some drums.” Furthermore, Kris points out what she thinks is obvious. She says, “How can you play drums if the crib is right there?” Kourtney brushes it off replying, “He was getting ready for tour.” However, Kris still doesn’t understand the logic. She says, “He has to practice in the bedroom, you have a huge house and you’re practicing next to the bed. Okay?” Undeniably, drums are second nature in Travis Barker’s house since it is his passion and career as the Blink-182 drummer. Seemingly, all the Barker kids have learned to love their dad’s art.

I think it was staged for the show. Kourtney already has three kids, so she knows. I’m more concerned about that poor baby’s name. 🙄
Agree but not surprised. Kourtney has always been in her own bubble. She’s unconditional and wants to please her husband, whatever it may be :kids, food goth since they are together. The living arrangements I bet has been her idea
who cares and every rock stars home I have watched on TV all their babies had Gothic themed nurseries.
