‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood’s New Fiance, Gary, Missing

Teen Mom star, Amber Portwood’s new fiance, Gary Wayt, has gone missing. He was just introduced in the Thursday, June 6th episode of The Next Chapter. Then, it came out that they were engaged but now, he has vanished? What happened? Keep reading for the details that are known.

When Amber Portwood left co-star, Jade Cline’s wedding to Sean Austin, she was with a woman. It was a female friend of Jade’s and they had been locking lips. Then, she did a Zoom call with her Teen Mom co-stars and they wanted the tea on her and the woman. She said it was a one-time thing and then dropped a bomb. There was a man in her life and his name was Gary. He popped up on the Zoom screen and the girls laughed as she seemed to have a thing for men named Gary.

Amber tried to tell her daughter, Leah about Gary but she seemed disinterested which led Amber to call her a “d*ck.” Shortly after the second episode aired, it came out that Gary and Amber were engaged. They’ve supposedly been together since the beginning of 2024 and have kept this lowkey. His stats were unknown but it appeared he was in his thirties. Now, according to The Sun, Gary has gone missing. Per the police report, he was last seen on Sunday, June 9th in North Carolina. She lives in Indiana so no word on what he was doing there.

The Sheriff’s Department did confirm “we are still trying to find him at the moment, he’s been missing since June 9th.” Gary Wayt is described as bald, 6’1, and has brown eyes, weighing 205 pounds. As for his car, he has a 2009 gray Nissan Rogue with Indiana plates. This is Amber Portwood’s third engagement as she was previously engaged to Gary Shirley with whom she shares a daughter, Leah. She was then engaged to Matt Baier and had a relationship with Andrew Glennon. That resulted in her son, James who now lives in California.

Speaking Out

The big question is if the Teen Mom star has posted anything on her social media regarding her missing fiance. One would think she would be eager to find him and get him back home. Per Amber Portwood’s social media, nothing has been shared at all. The last time she posted was in December 2023 and all of the comments are recent, slamming her behavior at Leah’s 15th birthday. That was when she called her daughter a “d*ck.” Even the Teen Mom social media has nothing regarding Gary so hopefully, he is okay.
