‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Vanna White Reminiscing During Pat’s Final Week
Wheel of Fortune co-host and letter-turner Vanna White is reminiscing during show host Pat Sajak’s final week. He announced his retirement in June 2023 but shared he would be staying through Season 41. Now, his last episode will air on Friday, June 7th, 2024 and it is starting to hit everyone hard. Wheel Of Fortune Vanna White Reminiscing During Pat’s Final Week
For Vanna White, she has worked alongside Pat Sajak for four decades now. It looked like she might exit when he did but she ultimately signed a contract through 2026. Now, when Pat exits, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest will take over but that is not until September 2024. Though not all fans believe he is the best choice, he is the pick regardless. In April, Pat filmed his final Wheel of Fortune episode and now, the time for it to air has come.
For Vanna, this marks the end of an era and just like many diehard fans, it is a hard pill to swallow. Pat is synonymous with the hit game show and it will be a strange transition. According to The Sun, Vanna is taking the time to reminisce during the final week. She started by heading over to Instagram to share a sunset photo and in the caption, Vanna had this to say:
“I’m flooded with memories as the sun sets on this chapter for Pat, Wheel of Fortune, and me. I’ll share some of my favorites over the coming days. Stay tuned.”

Immediately, Vanna White’s comments were flooded. Some wanted her to be the host while others felt the exact same way that she did about Pat Sajak leaving:

- It was an absolute honor to be on the show for Pat’s final day of taping. You don’t know what an impact this show has left on my life!!

Next Chapter
Pat Sajak’s daughter, Maggie Sajak, who works on Wheel of Fortune, also left heart emojis in the comments. It will be hard for everyone but it will be amazing to see what the final episode holds. More so, how the transition will be. Will Pat pop up to help introduce Ryan Seacrest or will he just fade off into that beautiful sunset? As for Pat, he is doing okay with his impending exit:
“It’s surprisingly OK. This was announced a long time ago, almost a year ago. So I’ve had time to sort of get used to it. And it’s been a little bit wistful and all that, but I’m enjoying it and taking it all in and reflecting on the great run.”
