Demi Lovato Opens Up About Her Mental Health Treatments
Demi Lovato has recently opened up about her mental health and the treatments she endured. She has always been open and honest about her mental health struggles. Fans love her transparency. They feel as though they can relate to her in a sense since she has been so honest about the situation. However, she now opened up about how to find hope in the dark tunnel. Demi Lovato Struggles With Addiction
Demi Lovato opened up about her addiction in the past. In school, she felt as though she did not have many friends and was lonely. So, she met a girl who got her into partying. This is where her addiction started. Demi revealed that she had tried meth, heroin, and so much more. Demi got sober but then relapsed again. She wrote a song about her relapse called, Sober. This has allowed fans to get an insight into her struggles and how she tries to work through them.
She Opens Up About Finding Hope
Demi let fans know how she found hope in the dark situation.
“I have been to inpatient treatment five times, and it has something that every single time I walked back into a treatment center, I felt defeated, and I know that experience firsthand, but I think the glimmer of hope was when I started putting in the work and I started to, whether it was work, a program, or talk to my treatment team and build relationships there. I think the glimmer of hope started to change when I started to find joy and the little things in life. And that was something that was so foreign to me before because I was so used to, so used to not seeing hope,”
Fans are proud of Demi for opening up about the hardest times in her life. However, she is letting others know it is okay to not be okay. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
It seems that Demi has been doing good since her last treatment. She has been open about being on medication and trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel. She has been an inspiration to a lot of fans who are going through the same thing. Demi does not want mental health to be frowned upon, as do a lot of other people.
