Bravo’s Andy Cohen Waiting To Get Canceled
Bravo exec and producer Andy Cohen is admitting that he is just waiting to get canceled. There have been a handful of lawsuits either handed to him or talked about. That was one of the reasons fans assumed BravoCon 2024 was postponed. Now, he is opening up about this fear and what he is doing in the meantime to combat it. Keep reading for more details.
Bravo’s Andy Cohen Waiting To Get Canceled
Andy Cohen has kept his head high despite mounting allegations against both himself and the network. He was accused of sexual harassment by Brandi Glanville though she has yet to make a legal claim. RHONY alum Leah McSweeney made damaging comments about Andy, claiming that he did cocaine with Bravolebs. More than that, she said that the ones he partied with received a more favorable edit. He refuted this and maintained that they were both false and defamatory.
Several housewives came to his defense including Melissa Gorga, Lisa Vanderpump, and Tamra Judge. They have had nothing but positive things to say about him and have not backed down. When BravoCon 2024 was postponed until 2025, it was just assumed it had to do with Andy. He spoke out and said that it was all about the venue and the timing. They did not want it to happen to close to the 2023 convention so they decided to sit this one out. Now, he is opening up about waiting to get canceled, according to Page Six.
Andy Cohen had a Vulture profile written about him and spoke candidly about waiting for the other shoe to drop.
“Sometimes at night I’ll be in bed and I’ll think, ‘Huh, did I say something?’ I’m always waiting for the thing that’s going to make it all fall down.”
When it comes to the Brandi situation, he had allegedly told her he wanted her to watch him be intimate with a fellow Bravoleb. Below Deck’s Kate Chastain was involved and they claim that it was meant as a joke. Andy has taken responsibility for being in very poor taste.
Being More Mindful
It does “fascinate” Andy Cohen how anything one says can be career-ending in the blink of an eye. That being said, he is now being much more mindful of his behavior:
“You have to be smart about what you say because there’s no nuance anymore. People are just waiting to be outraged by every little thing.”
Along with Leah McSweeney and Brandi Glanville, he has also had to contend with Bethenny Frankel. She has helmed the Reality Reckoning campaign against Bravo’s parent company, NBCUniversal. It is her opinion that Bravolebs deserve better contracts, urging them to start a union. She also had a litany of complaints but NBCUniversal fired back:
“NBCUniversal is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. At the outset, we require our third-party production partners to have appropriate workplace policies and training in place.”
At one point, Bethenny had thanked Andy Cohen for making her the most successful housewife in history. In the end, Andy had this to say:
“I like being provocative. It makes me feel alive in a weird way. It’s dangerous. It’s spontaneous. I think it sometimes gets to the heart of who a person is. If you navigate it well, it can become something incredible and intoxicating. It’s like dancing on the water: Are you going to go over or not?”

Love love love Andy & all things bravo!!
I like Andy, and ALL things Bravo, but i do think there is some truth to some of the allegations, hoping for the best because i would hate to see Andy and anything Bravo go away
Oh puleeez….Brandi is a lunatic and Bethany always plays the victim in everything she does or says. Don’t surprise me that they are jumping on this bandwagon. Leave Andy and Bravo alone.
l really love Andy, he is very good at what he does.
