‘WCTH’ Star Mamie Laverock’s Medical Situation Takes A Tragic Turn
The close-knit WCTH cast has been rocked by a shocking medical change. Hallmark star Mamie Laverock’s health update has dramatically changed in the past few days. Unfortunately, the latest news reveals that Mamie has experienced a tragic turn of events that now has her on life support. Moreover, fellow When Calls The Heart stars are asking Hearties to help the family of this young star.

WCTH Star Mamie Laverock’s Health Has Taken A Tragic Turn
A few weeks ago, WCTH star Mamie Laverock experienced a serious medical situation in Winnipeg that required the 19-year-old to return to Vancouver to get specialized medical care. There was a GoFundMe set up for her by her parents to assist with some of these costs. Her mother arrived there on May 11. She arrived just in time.
At the time, Mamie was expected to be receiving care for about a month. Most of all, she was showing signs of improvement.
However, Late on Monday, the family shared a shocking update. “We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories. She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.”
Needless to say, her family is “devastated.” This is absolutely tragic news.
Erin Krakow And Johanna Newmarch Ask Hearties To Donate
Needless to say, WCTH stars are in shock and heartbroken. Most of all, they have been sharing the GoFundMe, starting with Erin Krakow, and Jonanna Newmarch, asking Hearties to please donate to help Mamie Laverock’s family during this painful time of need.
Erin Krakow shared, “💔 I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio.” Johanna Newmarch shared that the GoFundMe was updated. She wrote on Instagram, “I love this wonderful family so much, and my heart is broken. Such a devastating time for them and all who care deeply for sweet Mamie. Please help if you can.”

Mamie Laverock Portrayed Rosaleen Sullivan On WCTH
Many Hearties will remember Rosaleen Sullivan because she was one of the children in WCTH Season 1 and Season 2. Moreover, she returned to continue her storyline in Season 10. In the long-running Hallmark series, Rosaleen had lost her father in the tragic coal mill accident that killed so many of the local men.
However, this was part of the Henry Gowan (Martin Cummins) redemption story. In the end, he was forgiven for his participation in this tragedy.
