Will Justin Hartley’s Wife Sofia Pernas Return For ‘Tracker’ Season 2?
Tracker was a huge success for CBS. Much of this is because many of Justin Hartley’s This Is Us friends who guest-starred on the series. In addition, Justin’s real-life wife Sofia Pernas also guest-starred in one episode. Could the Blood & Treasure alum return to the hit series? Here is what we know now.
Will Sofia Pernas Return To Tracker For Season 2?
Recently, Justin Hartley spoke to Deadline about Tracker Season 2. One big question asked was about Billie Matalon, portrayed by Sofia Pernas, Hartley’s wife. Did Hartley, who is also an executive producer of the CBS series, plan to bring her back for Season 2? His answer was in the affirmative. “She’s definitely coming back. We have some pretty cool stuff for her to do next year.”
Then he revealed that the Young and The Restless alum will not just be making one appearance as in Season 1. Pernas will be guest-starring more than once. “She’ll be back several times next year.” Several certainly sounds like at least three times. Now that CBS can make a full season, there should be at least 20 episodes to look forward to. Sofia’s fantastic character Billie will certainly add another layer of interest to fans of this action series.

Justin Hartley Credits His Wife For Interesting Character
Everyone raved when Sofia Pernas guest-starred on Tracker. There was so much sizzling chemistry between the two. Moreover, the character of Billie Matalon was fascinating. But, Justin Hartley makes it clear why this character was so sparkling, Since episode two, Billie’s name was mentioned as another reward seeker. So there was already some mystery surrounding them. Hartley credits Sofia’s talent for fleshing out this intriguing character.
Justin shared, “To be honest with you, I’m not sure how much of that character aspect that she brought was actually written. I think you’re just watching a talented actor.”
Next, he revealed that because they were married, they could talk about her Tracker character and go the extra mile in creating something really special.
“There are a few things we had the benefit of discussing privately that, normally, you don’t have time to do that. But when you live with the person, you can talk about that other stuff at dinner, and go, ‘Hey, what about this?’ So we really got a chance to dialogue that.”
