Several casting changes are coming to the Chicago One shows after the current seasons end. One change has already happened. Hailey Upton left Chicago PD in the Season 11 finale. However, some fans have predicted she will pop up on a rival show in the future thanks to something they saw.

Here is where fans think Hailey will show up next and why they came to this conclusion.

Chicago PD Star Possibly Moving On To Rival Show

On the Chicago PD season finale, Hailey (Tracy Spiridakos) raced to save her boss, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe). A serial killer targeted Hank and captured him. As the promos for the show revealed, Hank was in bad shape and was hallucinating. That is where Hailey came into the picture.

Hailey ended up shot during the rescue, but she helped Voight escape and they made it out alive. They ended up in the hospital after the dangerous event, and that is when she dropped the bomb on Voight. Hailey said she wanted to leave and start over somewhere else. This was a touching moment and sent Tracy Spiridakos off the show to seek other opportunities.

However, something happened at the end of the episode that has fans thinking Hailey won’t be gone for long. Before she left for the Chicago O’Haire Airport, Hailey was on her laptop looking for FBI jobs. Dick Wolfe, who runs Chicago PD, also runs the FBI shows.

Fans predicted on social media that this was an Easter egg for Hailey’s future.

  • “Where did Hailey go? … If she goes to the FBI she could get on one of #DickWolf’s other 3 #TheFBIs shows”
  • “Our girl’s onto better things”
  • “HAILEY IS GOING TO JAY! AND ALSO THE FBI THING! GIRL CAN MAKE CAMEOS ON FBIs!!”
  • “I wish both Hailey and Jay jump to FBI most wanted”

Several Other People Leaving Chicago One Shows This Season?

Tracy Spiridakos isn’t the only person leaving Chicago One shows after this season ended. There are several other people either leaving or changing roles.

  1. I would love to see Haley go to FBI International be the team leader I’m going to miss her on PD I really did like her character more than Erin

    1. Leading the Fly Team would be PERFECT for her. A solid team leader who’s a natural for Europe (Tracy speaks fluent Greek), she’d be the ideal choice to lead the team with the departure of Scott Forrester.

  2. I’d like to see Hailey back on FBI, as if you followed her she was assigned to FBI task force in the past during the Covid 19 shutdown of all shows .

    1. Her appearance on ‘Emotional Rescue’ where she pinch-hitter as OA’s partner earned that episode the highest ratings in all six episodes the series has been on the air.

I maintain moving her to FBI International would be best as new Fly Team Leader as both Hailey Upton and the actress herself (Tracy Spiridakos) are fluent in Greek, which would lend added authenticity to both for beefing up the show in placing her as a worthy successor to Scott Forrester.

  3. EDIT CORRECTION: Her appearance on ‘Emotional Rescue’ where she pinch-hit as OA’s partner earned that episode the highest ratings in all six seasons the series has been on the air to date.

I maintain moving her to FBI International would be best as new Fly Team Leader as both Hailey Upton and the actress herself (Tracy Spiridakos) are fluent in Greek, which would lend added authenticity to both for beefing up the show in placing her as a worthy successor to Scott Forrester.

She would also enhance her value as a long term asset to the show.
