‘Botched Bariatrics’ How’s Simone With ‘Uncontrollable Vomiting’?
Botched Bariatrics is one of TLC’s latest reality shows. However, it comes with an unusual twist as it features the horrible aftermath of patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. Some people even worry that it may give the weight loss surgery a bad image.
One of the first patients on the show is named Simone. She was struggling with “uncontrollable vomiting” coming into the franchise. Due to this, she sought Dr. Hodges’ help, who has expertise with failed surgeries. Keep reading to see what happened to Simone today.
Botched Bariatrics: Simone’s Terrifying Situation
Simone’s botched surgery negatively impacted her eating habits, which resulted in uncontrollable vomiting. The Botched Bariatrics star struggled to enjoy life due to her condition. It came to a point where she struggled to do some of the most basic tasks at home.
She hasn’t been able to lose weight as well, which was one of the main reasons why she had the surgery. Simone also explained that she had to puree all the foods she eats into a paste just to prevent her from vomiting. “I’ve been pureeing my food for 12 years. If I don’t puree it, I throw it up,” she said. Fortunately, Dr. Hodges knows a solution to fix her problems.
Did Simone Got Treated?
During her episode, Simone was able to address her concerns with Dr. Hodges precisely, which made the surgeons’ job a lot easier. The Botched Bariatrics star underwent a corrective procedure, which eventually alleviated her symptoms. She was able to get her strength back and finally got to eat without any issues with vomiting.
Botched Bariatrics: How’s Simone Today?
Simone has kept her life private from the online world, making it hard for fans to get updates about her recovery. However, the Botched Bariatrics star’s episode ended on a positive note, and she may already be on her way to full recovery. But despite being allowed to eat solid foods, Simone will still have to track her weight and keep herself healthy.
The third episode of Botched Bariatrics will air on May 29, 2024, and will feature another patient struggling to swallow food after a botched lap band surgery. If you are looking for more Botched Bariatrics news, come back to TV Shows Ace for all your updates.
