Stassi Schroeder Subtly Shades Brittany & Jax Missing Her Wedding
Even though Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor had dated when Vanderpump Rules began, they were able to form a friendship. More than that, she fell in love with his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright. So much so that Stassi was a bridesmaid in their wedding. They were also pregnant at the same time, having babies within months of each other. Then, Stassi and Beau Clark decided to go forward with their dream wedding in Italy. They had a civil ceremony in 2020 but, in 2022, planned a small but stunning Italian affair.
Brittany and Jax were set to attend Stassi’s May 2022 wedding in Italy along with their son, Cruz. Yet, at the last minute, they bailed, claiming Cruz’s passport had never arrived and a family emergency that Brittany’s mom had to tend to. This did not track as Jax was sending messages in a group text about other things that he was up to. Though Brittany and Stassi were estranged for some time, they have recently reconnected but it seems Stassi is still angry. She took to her Instagram stories to show off her nearly nine-month-old son, Messer’s passport with the tag that it took just two weeks.
After seeing this post, fans took to Twitter/X to share their thoughts on the situation. Many just mocked Jax and Brittany:
Jax: “I wasn’t gonna go to Stassi & Beau’s wedding because my son didn’t have a passport. We thought we were gonna get the expedited passport for Cruz, it didn’t come in time.”

Jax is a liar. They will literally have you come into an office in any state that you can to get the passport. My grandmother got her passport expedited literally two hours before a flight out the country. Just say you didn’t want to go.

Anyone who knows Jax’s sociopathy would know that he intentionally dipped out last minute because he wanted to make headlines and make himself Centre of attention because he hates that Stassi got away and is way happier than him.

Essentially, it seems that Jax Taylor was in the wrong and he should have just declined the invite from the beginning.
Why The Drama?
For Stassi Schroeder, since it was such an intimate affair if someone was not going to make it, she would have turned the invite to another person. Admittedly, she had to cross people off the guest list that she loved and this was a slap in the face. Some fans noted that it was during the pandemic so things may have been slower. However, it was also reiterated how Jax Taylor is a chronic liar so why believe anything that he has to say? Jax and Brittany Cartwright have since separated and she admits she should have gone to the wedding alone.
