Did Swifties Hijack Tom Brady’s Roast By Booing Kim Kardashian?
Recently, Netflix released The Roast Of Tom Brady. While it was aired as a live stream, there have been edits since the original availability for viewers. One of the big edits was a booing session for the great Kim Kardashian. Although it took time away from the crude roast, it was clipped from the current version on the streaming service. Although everyone is aware there is an ongoing feud between Kim and Taylor Swift, some speculate the Swifties had a hand in the ousting. However, one of the feature roasters, Nikki Glaser, has the tea about whether it was a hijack by Swifties.
The Roast Of Tom Brady Brings Everyone To The Table
During The Roast Of Tom Brady on Netflix, there was a fabulous showing of talent. Undeniably, Tom Brady was center stage and brutally whipped throughout the show. However, he wasn’t the only one. Undoubtedly, all present, and even some not, were fair game for the roasting. Big names were in attendance at the live roasting such as Drew Bledsoe, Tony Hinchcliffe, Rob Gronkowski, and the Roastmaster General himself, Jeff Ross. Alongside them were many other familiar faces like Nikki Glaser. Additionally, Kim Kardashian couldn’t miss the opportunity to add to the show of her alleged ex.
Furthermore, comedian Nikki Glaser was present and brought up Kim’s nemesis during her segment. During Nikki’s bit, she hoses Kevin Hart for his short stature multiple times, as well as takes jabs at several others on stage. But at one point she mentions she didn’t watch football until Taylor Swift gave her permission. It was a slight dig at Tom Brady’s career and a “hats off” to the pop star for her super influence. But when Kim Kardashian took the stage, the crowd went wild with their welcome but then it turned into a long booing session. “All right, all right, all right,” she said but stayed calm. While the turn of events interrupted Kim’s speech, she pauses to let it pass before getting cutthroat with Tom. She even brings in comparison to her stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner during the roast.
With Kim and Taylor’s well-known feud resurfacing, many people didn’t question the booing action. Instead, they chalk it up to a hijack by Swifties since Taylor’s recent release of “thanK you aIMee.”

Since Nikki Glaser was front and center for the event and a devout Swiftie herself, she has some tea about what happened during the Kim Kardashian booing. In Tuesday’s episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she discusses what she learned after the fact. After the roasting, Nikki says she bumped into someone from the event at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood, CA who had some insight on the incident. Notably, she says they attended with some “wild guy who’s a comedian” with a “reputation for just, like, starting s–t.” Attempting to clear the Swiftie name from the interaction, she says, “Apparently, he started the boo as just, like, a joke.”
Then she breaks it down as, “He just had too many drinks or something, and he’s not affiliated with Swifties or anything [and] just felt like saying a boo into the air, and apparently everyone was so riled up.” Furthermore, she adds, “It just kinda caught wind, but it wasn’t Swiftie-meditated. I do have on good information that it was not based on that. Because I was like, this doesn’t feel like a huge Swiftie crowd, but it didn’t feel like that was the vibe in the room.” But she admits it boils down to, “The guy started it started it as a joke, and it caught on too much, but I was so glad to learn it was not Swiftie-meditated.”
Nikki Glaser Stands Up For Kim Kardashian And The Kardashian-Jenner Family
Additionally, Nikki Glaser points out it wasn’t a stereotypical “Swiftie” crowd. Admittedly, she thinks there is more of a tilt to it being provoked by people who believe The Kardashians are famous for “nothing” and lack talent. But she disagrees, “I don’t want to hear that anymore that they’re not talented. They clearly are! They’ve achieved something consistently for 20 years now. They’re talented! It just doesn’t look like the talent you define.”
