Fans quickly picked up on a jab at North West and Kim Kardashian within the lyrics. While this is a reaction to the long-running feud between Taylor and Kim, it is hard to believe it continues. But the headache doesn’t stop there for Kim. After the iconic popstar took her swing at the famous entrepreneur, Kim’s following also took a dive.

When The Tortured Poets Department dropped, the song “thanK you aIMee” was a diss track throwing shots at Kim and her daughter, North West.
For instance, Taylor uses lyrics like: “Everyone knows that my mother is a saintly woman / But she used to say she wished that you were dead.” And “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F–k you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin.’” While Kim still has a large following, after Taylor’s release, she lost a significant number of them with more than 120,000 people unfollowing and the number is continually growing.
