Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner shared some news that blew his followers right out of the water with shock. Shattered, most of them couldn’t begin to know what to think. Gerry Turner Critics Convinced He’s Not As Genuine As First Believed
People started questioning the Golden Bachelor lead when an ex claimed that he mistreated her. Some viewers already decided he seemed fake at times, especially with his dramatic elimination scenes. For example, the tears and drama when he sent Faith home seemed not as genuine as some had hoped. At first, everyone believed he was just what the franchise needed. Then, Gerry Turner went from sweet old man to villain when he announced his fast divorce from Theresa Nist.
Golden Bachelor fans felt shocked because Gerry and Theresa’s marriage only lasted three months. Therefore, a photo of sad-faced Theresa taking out the trash tugged at the hearts of ABC viewers. While she claimed it was a mutual agreement to separate, she didn’t look happy. For ABC viewers, his declaration of loving her “1000 percent” seems laughable now.
Golden Bachelor Shocks His Followers
On Wednesday, Gerry took to his Instagram account and shared some interesting news. He revealed that he’d been nominated for the Critics Choice Awards: specifically for “Best Male Star of the Year.” To say that ABC fans were shocked is an understatement.

Well, it seems he turned out to be a pretty good actor?! All the way through the show ~ lies and more lies! He should be completely humiliated by what he’s done! And his poor family to find out he has this horrible trait!

Balogny poor family! Don’t be fooled by Gerrys family, they were all just as much of a fake part of this as he was!! I saw through as all his daughters. They already knew his history after their mother passed away how he jumped right into dating soon after, JUST like he’s doing now again after his phoney 1000% sure fake marriage to Theresa! Gerry is a phoney fake woman scammer and 1000% liar.
ABC should be embarrassed how they let this phoney fake crying jerk get by them not to see until it was too late….and all the $$$$ they put out on this jerko wedding and all!!! Gerry has had his 5 minutes of fame plus some. Bachelor Nation really messed up with this one. He is no star and does not deserve a nomination. He can definitely play a part but just needs to go back home to his family. That was what he wanted was to be close to his family.
Most of us fell for his “too good to be true” facade. Just goes to show what a good actor he is!

I watched the entire show, crap, I just can’t believe they even want to do another show like this. I will not be tuning in, even though the ladies seam more genuine than the guys, are just guys. I wish the next one luck but because of Gerry I’m done with Batchelor shows.
if you’re looking for good acting he definitely played a part, not sure any viewers were buying it. if you’re looking for respect and sincerity he blew it
He was only nominated. not won it.
Gerry is a fake, phony fraud. He never planned to stay with Theresa, especially after she made him sign a prenup. He was after her money. He switched from Leslie to Theresa when Theresa told him how successful she is in the stock market. His eyes lit up!
Not sure if a anyone noticed how Gerry’s face lit up when he found out Theresa as a day trader — and she told him she’s a good one. I knew right them and there money was more important than finding love. I kept hoping Theresa would run for the hills. Go back and watch “the most dramatic moment of the season”. Better screening is needed.. and lie detector tests. LOL
