Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Reveals New Baby
Alana Honey Boo Boo Thompson has grown up a lot since the early days of pageants. Now, she’s a college kid and recently wrapped up her freshman year in Colorado at Regis University. Her attending college has been a huge topic of discussion.
It was obvious Alana really couldn’t afford the tuition even with the $21k scholarship she received. As it turns out, Mama June had spent all the money that was supposed to be set aside for her education. Somehow, she did manage to go.
Sadly, her sister Anna Cardwell passed away in December from stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. Many fans wondered if she would even return to Colorado. She didn’t confirm anything until the last week of April. She finally went to social media to share that she was studying and about to complete her last week as a freshman in college.
Now that the school year appears to be over, Alana went to social media to share a short video introducing her baby girl. The video was actually shared by her sister Pumpkin and reshared by Alana confirming the news.
The video shows a tan-colored pug dog walking around on the grass. The caption said, “Coco loves aunt pumpkin”
So far no further details have been shared by the family. Perhaps Alana will share how she ended up with Coco and how she plans to care for her since she’s reportedly a college student. So far Alana has not shared her plans for her sophomore year of college.

After a mid-season break, Mama June: Family Crisis returns this summer. Previews for the upcoming episodes reveal this will be the time the family faces Anna’s death on camera.
It will also be a trying time for Mama June and her husband Justin Stroud. There will be arguments and her attempt to rekindle their romance. Will it work or will it be the end of their marriage?

I am so shocked by this news! I really was hoping Alana would be the one that made it out of GA and get the nursing degree she had wanted for so long! I have so many questions and am dying to have the answers and only hope Alana finds the personal fortitude and stamina to see it through so she can provide the life she and her baby (where’s her boyfriend in all this?) have always dreamt of. Single moms make it through college all the time; you CAN DO THIS!!!
