‘Let’s Make A Deal’ Wayne Brady Questions Contestant’s Thinking

Let’s Make a Deal host Wayne Brady recently questioned a contestant’s thinking. The game comes with many tough decisions and choices to make. That being said, they do not want to miss out on anything and it seemed Wayne was doing his best to keep a player on track. So, what happened when he tried to help? Keep reading for more details.

It feels like there are so many choices on Let’s Make A Deal. Contestants can keep what they are offered or go for more. Unfortunately, the more they play, the bigger the risk that they can walk away with nothing. Or, they can end up with so much more than they ever bargained for. It is a game of both risk and luck which is what makes it so much fun to play and watch. Sometimes, the hosts try to encourage the players to do what they think is right but are not always listened to.

This is the case with Let’s Make a Deal and Wayne Brady. He recently encountered a contestant who had a chance to easily take home thousands of dollars. However, they were insistent on continuing to play the game their way, according to Monsters & Critics. Wayne was talking to a cupcake named Jolene who was vying for $10K. Yet, in order to get that cash, she had to win a round of Tic-Tac-Toe which is not the easiest thing to do.


At the start, Wayne Brady said this: “I’ll give you $1,000 right now to walk away.” Jolene declined and kept rolling the dice for the game. Wayne continued to offer her more money, up to $3K so she could treat herself well. Yet, she still said no. “As tempting as that is… I think I want to roll,” Jolene shared. He then attempted to stop her from rolling:

“I think our session’s over now. Before you roll those dice…May I? This is an act of trust. I’m gonna take the dice from you. You have a problem.”


That was when Wayne offered her $4K but what was she to do? She had a bunch of money in front of her but a game of risk, as well.

Jolene did not care and she took her chances, rolling once more. When she did this, she ended up winning, leaving Wayne Brady to eat his words. Fans were very excited and impressed with her Let’s Make a Deal win:
