‘Today’ Savannah Guthrie Has Wild Night At Bar, Ends Toothless
Savannah Guthrie is known for her professional demeanor on The Today Show. Savannah Guthrie Shares That She Lost A Tooth During Moms’ Night Out
Before the Mother’s Day segment, which aired during the May 10 episode of Today, Savannah Guthrie and the other ladies on the morning talk show chatted about their sisterhood. Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer, and Savannah are all working moms. So, they have formed a special bond with each other over the years as they worked together and gave birth to (or adopted) their children.
The mom group opened up to People about their bond and how they like to spend time away from their kids together. When the group gets together outside of the office, some unforgettable memories are made.
“It’s over by, usually, 7:50,” Jenna Bush Hager said. “When you work a morning shift, going out is like 5:00 PM.” Hoda Kotb then joked that she was the “first out,” but that the rest of the ladies were “on a bender,” staying out until 8:30.
Then, in a startling revelation, Savannah Guthrie revealed that she lost a tooth. None of the other ladies remembered Savannah losing a tooth, so they all looked shocked.
Jenna Bush Hager Couldn’t Believe Savannah’s Revelation
“You lost your tooth? Savannah, are you joking?” Jenna asked. “I feel the way I did with the Polar Plunge. I feel deceived. I feel deceived by you. She tried to blame the wildness on me!”
While Savannah Guthrie didn’t provide any details about how she lost her tooth, she told the other ladies that it must still be at the Pebble Bar, located in Rockefeller Center. “You lost it at the bar?” Jenna asked, to which Savannah responded, “I guess.”
Then Savannah pointed out that Jenna was still present when she lost her tooth. Jenna insisted that she already left the bar for the night though. “I was gone! I was not there when you lost a tooth,” she said.
Concluding their discussion of their moms’ night outs, Savannah Guthrie said, “Anyway, that’s how it is. We like to go out early. We don’t get to do this all that often. But that’s why when we do it, it’s fun and it goes on longer than anyone anticipated.”
Jenna Bush Hager agreed with Savannah and said that they should do it more often. “On that evening, we decided we were going to do it the first Thursday of every month. And we’ve never done it again,” Jenna shared. Moms everywhere know how that feels.
