‘Sister Wives’ Fans Challenge The Brown’s MLM Business
Recently, Sister Wives fans have called the multi-level marketing (MLM) company under scrutiny that several of the Brown family are touting. While there are several products and services that the Browns have promoted over the years, one in particular has caught the eye of fans.
Sister Wives Stars Are Getting Good Results
Lately, Sister Wives stars, Janelle, Christine, Mykelti, and Maddie Brown have been showing some tremendous results from one brand in particular. Each of these ladies has been struggling with different health problems and has found a product that is seemingly helping them reach their various health goals. However, there are some doubters among the show’s community.
Sister Wives Fans Challenge The Brown’s MLM Business
On Reddit, one Sister Wives fan points others to a podcast that talks about one of the MLM companies that the Browns are associated with. First, they title the conversation: “If you were ever confused WTF Plexus even is…👇🏾👇🏾🤦🏾♀️.” Then they add a screenshot from the podcast Sawbones: A Marital Tour of Misguided Medicine. Essentially, Sawbones explores different products and evaluates their validity.
During the podcast, Dr. Sydnee McElroy and her husband Justin discuss the company Plexus. While they found some positives of the products, most of their assessment was that they aren’t that special. Somewhat boiling it down to mostly caffeine and magnesium being the main ingredients that would promote the results the Browns are experiencing. Furthermore, the note that the company started as “Breast Chek” and has evolved into the weight loss and health management company it is currently. Additionally, Justin reviews the business aspects of the company and attempts to dissect the levels within.
- Some Sister Wives fans were happy to see Sawbones review: “I love Sawbones ♥️.”
- “An unexpected but very welcome crossover!”
- “I love Justin and Sydnee! Such a great podcast.”
Fans Think The Stars Are Just In It To Make Money
After the initial Reddit post, several Sister Wives fans joined in the comments about their thoughts on the topic. Many were disgruntled by the use of parasocial relationships to gain money. Additionally, it was clear that some would never take the advice of any of the wives after their marriages to Kody Brown.
Other Fans Question Their Motives
Although several of the Sister Wives family members work in MLM businesses, that isn’t their only skillset. Seemingly, they believe in the products they are selling. Likewise, they choose to promote them in their circles, including the TLC show.
- One fan says, “I don’t think it is okay, but some people say ‘well they had no skills, so at least they had this to fall back on.’ Are they saying that no SAHM with a high school education (and C & J went to public schools not church schools) has ever been able to support themselves after divorce? Christine was the only one with a single minor child.”
What do you think about the Brown family‘s world of MLM products and services? Do you think they should sell products to the Sister Wives community? Have you tried Plexus? Are you ready to see more episodes? Drop your comments below.
