Ben Higgins & Kaitlyn Bristowe Bond Over Failed Engagements
Kaitlyn Bristowe was a guest on the Almost Famous podcast that Ben Higgins hosts with Ashley Iaconetti. Ben and Kaitlyn hashed out their differences that caused a months-long feud that may or may not have been Chris Harrison’s fault.
Ben was a contestant on Kaitlyn’s season of The Bachelorette and went on to star as The Bachelor after she dumped him. Neither of their engagements to their final contestants lasted. She was engaged to Shawn Booth and he was set to marry Lauren Bushnell.
In the years since their time on the show, both Shawn and Lauren have downplayed their respective Bachelor Nation relationships.
Ben and Kaitlyn discussed on the podcast how their exes’ comments made them feel. “My feelings were so hurt,” Kaitlyn admitted.
According to Us Weekly, Ben Higgins agreed, saying “It was because they are very real to us.” He went on to marry Jess Clarke. Kaitlyn had another failed engagement when her relationship with Jason Tartick ended in 2023.

He said that even though she told him she was going to pick Shawn or Nick Viall, they had a “good time” in the Fantasy Suite. Kaitlyn has previously revealed that she was intimate with all three of her Fantasy Suite suitors.
