On Patrol: Live Has Hosting Switch-Up This Weekend, Who’s On?
Viewers are already bummed about the fact that Peacock will be raising their prices come Summer 2024. This is the streaming service that many use to watch On Patrol: Live. They have also wondered when the Hazen Police Department and Chief Bradley Taylor will be back. Therefore, a lot is going on in the world of OPL. Now, it has been revealed that there will be a hosting switch-up for the weekend of May 3rd and May 4th. Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin has long been gone, only making a few appearances here and there. So, what is going on and how are fans reacting to this whole situation?
According to the show’s Twitter/X page, Curtis Wilson will be away for the weekend leaving just Dan Abrams as the main host. Rest assured, he will be joined by two fan favorites, Captain Tom Rizzo, and Chief Will Armstrong so that is a very exciting development.

This was immediately picked up by Reddit and fans had a lot to say about the new additions for this weekend. What were On Patrol: Live viewers’ thoughts?
- Tom rizzo is 100% my fave!!!!
- Looking forward to seeing how this trio works out! I think it’ll be great. Love mixing things up a bit. 😃
- Dan’s gonna vibe out with these two
- To take it even further, I’d like to see Rizzo and Armstrong full time.
- Is Tom Morris Jr. available for guest spots? He was great on the old show, why not now?
Over Curtis?
On Patrol: Live fans were thrilled with this trio but seemed to feel that it was time for Curtis Wilson to exit the show. They have found that he has been disinterested in being there recently. Plus, it just is not as enjoyable with him on the show:
- Just me or has Curtis seemed like he would rather be anywhere else the last couple weekends?
- I know this is unpopular, but I think the in-studio segments are just better without Curtis. When he was gone a month or so back it was delightful. This weekend should be fun.
So, this might be a trial run for future episodes but time will tell. Dan, Captain Rizzo, and Chief Armstrong may make for a fun and thrilling weekend.
Are you looking forward to seeing them in action? More so, do you agree that Curtis should step back for a while? Let us know and watch On Patrol: Live Fridays and Saturdays on Reelz.
