Britney Spears Says There Was ‘No Justice’

Britney Spears wrote these comments on a photo of herself in a black lace thong. Her back was to the camera in the shot. In the comments, she continued, “My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!! The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!”

She also posted a photo of the cover of I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy. The book is a memoir about McCurdy’s experience with her abusive mother and how she felt once she died. “Stay nice folks!!! Good book,” Britney wrote in the caption.

Then, just a few hours after that, she deleted everything from her Instagram page without any kind of warning.

Britney Was Ordered To Pay $2 Million

Britney’s outburst on social media and subsequent deletion of her account comes after she settled her legal battle with her dad, Jamie Spears. After several public mental breakdowns, Britney Spears was placed under a strict conservatorship with her dad. This lasted from 2008 until 2021.

Even though the conservatorship ended in 2021, the pair continued to fight over who would cover all of Jamie’s legal fees and “management fees.” He requested more than $2 million in fees for lawyers that he hired during the conservatorship. Additionally, he wanted Britney Spears to cover his current legal fees as well.

According to TMZ, the pop icon was ordered to pay all of her dad’s legal bills. After she was told by her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, that she had a fair chance of winning the suit, Britney is livid. She has reportedly paid Rosengart $4 million to be her lawyer.

Britney Spears did not go to court over this matter with her father. Her lawyers decided to place focus on “protecting her from reliving the traumas of her conservatorship.”
