Jax Taylor is currently in very hot water right now over his marriage to Brittany Cartwright. She has left their marriage of almost five years, stating that he has a lot of work to do. Brittany has claimed that she has asked him to do things for a very long time and he just refuses. More so, he has not made her feel desirable or loved so it has been an uphill battle that she cannot win. When asked if she thinks they will get back together, the mother of Cruz, 3, is not overly optimistic.

Though she loves Jax, she also knows that she has spent nearly a decade defending him and getting nothing in return. That being said, he recently made a comment that fans are completely taken aback by. It made it to a Reddit thread and the reactions are not so kind. The OP wrote this:

• Jax actually said that a newborn baby “needs to eat 3 times a day.” Dude have you ever been around a newborn? Their stomachs are the size of marble and they eat like every 90 minutes. Don’t you have a child???

Many followers shared that they corrected what Jax Taylor had said in their heads to every 3 hours not three times a day. Those who had kids or had cared for newborns shared they were constantly eating, diapers changed around the clock. It was clear his lack of involvement. Then again, some pointed out how Jax speaks before he thinks which is a chronic problem. They do not feel he has any idea what it takes to be a hands-on father which is very sad.
