‘Love Island’ Star Says She Is Quitting Reality TV
One of the most well-known Love Island stars has said she plans to completely quit reality TV. This is a huge move for her since she has appeared in three different of the franchise’s shows, looking for love. She has also appeared in several other reality TV shows, but she is now calling it quits on everything.
Here is why Georgia Steel is quitting reality TV and what she said finally pushed her over the edge.
Georgia Steel Quitting Reality TV After Most Recent Love Island Appearance
Georgia Steel became one of the most famous reality TV stars from the Love Island franchise. She has appeared in three different iterations of the show, as she kept looking for love. She premiered in Love Island Season 4 (the U.K. version). She then moved on to appear in Love Island Games and Love Island: All-Stars.
Georgia said that she won’t do any more reality TV shows after her most recent experience on Love Island: All-Stars (via The Sun). She was 20 when she went on Love Island for the first time and is now 26. “I don’t want to do anything that can be taken out of my control or alter how I am perceived,” Georgia said. “I don’t want people to think that I am someone I am not.”
Georgia and Toby Aromolaran broke up shortly after All-Stars ended. However, more importantly for Georgia, the edits on the show caused her to become quite the villain in that season. Fans considered Georgia to be “sneaky” and “a player” and trolled her consistently during her time on the show. This even led to death threats to Georgia and her family.
Who is Georgia Steel?
In Love Island Season 4, Steel entered the villa on Day 4 and lasted until Day 47. She hooked up with Niall and then Josh D. Georgie coupled with Sam, but they decided not to remain together as a couple. They had a choice. They could leave as a couple or return to the villa single. They refused to recouple, and then both refused to recouple with anyone in the next recoupling. As a result, they were both booted from the island.

After this, Georgia went onto the E4 dating series, Celebs Go Dating and the 5Star reality series, Celebs on the Ranch. In 2019, she appeared on Celebrity Coach Trip Season 5. She then jumped to the MTV series, Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love. It was here that she entered a relationship with Callum Izzard. They got engaged but then broke up a few months later.
This led her back to Love Island. In 2023, she was on Love Island Games, where she entered on Day 6 and ended up dumped on Day 9 thanks to the power couple, Imania and Ray. In 2024, she starred on Love Island: All-Stars. She was a Day 1 entry on this show and finished in fourth place.
