Caryn Chandler has been showing off her engagement ring in recent Little People Big World scenes. Caryn’s engagement ring even caught Amy’s attention, whether Amy wanted to admit it or not. Amy did admit that interactions with Caryn and Matt are still “awkward.”
Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler also detailed how Matt eventually popped the question and asked her to marry him. The pair were in their Arizona home, and Matt proposed in the backyard with the sun going down. Not surprisingly, Caryn Chandler said yes to Matt’s proposal.
LPBW: Caryn Chandler Would Be Marrying Into A Lot With Matt Roloff
With Caryn Chandler agreeing to marry Matt Roloff, Caryn is getting more than just Matt in the deal. She would eventually be marrying into the family, and becoming a new cog in the Roloff family machine. While this prospect is exciting, Caryn revealed in recent Little People Big World scenes that she also has some reservations.
Specifically, Caryn Chandler has reservations about joining the “Roloff crazy train.” There’s also the fact that Caryn didn’t think she would ever get married again. However, she went on to say that her perspective changed when Matt and his team began working on their new home on the farm.
Little People Big World: Caryn Chandler Worried About Relationships With Matt’s Kids
One thing about eventually marrying Matt Roloff that Caryn Chandler is concerned about is the relationship she has with his children. Caryn had a closer relationship with Matt’s kids when they were younger. However, that dynamic has changed over the years, especially since Caryn went from Roloff Farms employee to Matt’s girlfriend, to fiance.
There’s already a Roloff family rift over the botched farm deal. So, Caryn eventually becoming Matt’s wife has her stepping into a new role in an already fragile family situation. Caryn said she is still “treading lightly” when it comes to Matt’s children. It’ll be interesting to see if those relationships improve as Caryn and Matt get closer and closer to a wedding.
Matt and Caryn have both said that they want to tie the knot sometime in 2024. They want an intimate ceremony in Arizona when they finally do decide to make it official. This blended family situation certainly has a lot of landmines, especially with the lingering bitterness from the botched farm deal not fully resolved.
