Rumors About Gwen & Blake’s Marriage
There have been rumors that there was trouble in paradise for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. An insider revealed that the couple was going through a rough patch in their relationship.
“Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time,” the person said. “The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result.”
After the New Year, a source shared that Blake Shelton was really upset and “disappointed” about not being with his wife to ring in the new year.
Then, the rumors about a potential split ramped up even more when Gwen Stefani was reunited with her ex. She and Tony Kanal have joined forces once again alongside their old band members to take No Doubt to Coachella.
None of these rumors are what has been causing the most trouble in Gwen and Blake’s relationship though.
Gwen Stefani Opens Up About Her Personal Issues
Believe it or not, Gwen Stefani said that her own personal insecurities have a significant impact on her marriage. “I had been going through those times where you’re questioning, ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?'” she revealed.
“In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen,” Stefani continued. “I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid.”

Blake Shelton, 47, agreed with his wife and said that they both go through periods where they are insecure. He said they often have conversations about whether or not the other person will love them when they’re old or if any version of unforeseeable events happens in their lives.
At the end of the day, Gwen Stefani said that she knows they are meant to be. “The truth is I am in love with my best friend, and all this s**t I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is — I’m overthinking,” she concluded.
So, there is no real trouble in the couple’s marriage at this point. They are just both figuring out how to continue navigating life together as they change.
