Bachelor Couple Begins Their Life Together
Millions of viewers tuned in on March 25 to see if Joey Graziadei would choose Daisy Kent or Kelsey Anderson. The Bachelor star proposed to Kelsey after Daisy self-eliminated upon realizing she wouldn’t get the final rose.
Unlike some Bachelor Nation couples who drag their feet in relocating, Kelsey and Joey jumped full speed ahead into their relationship. While they don’t plan to marry immediately, they’ve already discussed their eventual honeymoon.
More importantly, they’ve made steps to leave their single lives behind and start their new journey together. But it won’t be in either of Joey or Kelsey’s hometowns.
Why Joey Graziadei & Kelsey Anderson Chose NYC Over Philly
Before joining Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette, Joey Graziadei was a tennis instructor in Hawaii. But he grew up in Pennsylvania. He called the Philadelphia area his home for many years and even stayed with his sister there during breaks from filming The Bachelorette and The Bachelor.
Kelsey Anderson spent much of her childhood on military bases in Germany but later returned to her Southern roots in New Orleans, Louisiana. She showed Joey around New Orleans during their hometown date earlier in the season.
Joey Graziadei reportedly moved to New Orleans with his fiance temporarily but then they plan to move to New York City. Why did they choose the Big Apple instead of his hometown of Philly?
The two chatted with The Philadelphia Inquirer about their summer plans. Joey said that they talked “a lot” about their next move. “New York is somewhere Kelsey has always wanted to live. It’s new for both of us, which we were kind of big on,” he explained about why they chose New York City.”
He added, “We wanted to pick a place both of us have never been so we can have a new experience together.” Another big plus is that NYC is a short train ride away from both Philly and New Orleans, so they can easily visit their friends and families.
Kelsey Anderson’s Shocking Cheesesteak Admission
Kelsey Anderson is a New Orleans girl at heart. She made the shocking admission that she’s never tried one of Philly’s famous cheesesteaks. “I have to teach her,” Joey told the Enquirer.
“I think I’m going to recommend my order of whiz wit and a little bit of ketchup and see if she likes it,” he added.
