Noah Erb popped the question to Abigail Heringer in summer 2023, two years after they met as contestants on Bachelor In Paradise. They broke up before the end of the season but reunited shortly afterward and have been together ever since.
But they didn’t rush right from an engagement to a wedding. Instead, the couple focused on renovating their shared Oklahoma home first. With the renovations going well, it seems they are finally ready to walk down the aisle.
Abigail Heringer took to social media earlier this week to share a huge milestone in wedding planning. With her BIP bestie Chelsea Vaughn in tow, Abigail went to a bridal shop to try on a few wedding dresses. She documented the experience for her fans, though she did say that the dresses in the video were ones she liked but rejected.

Abigail Heringer shared her story on Season 25 of The Bachelor of being born deaf and getting a cochlear implant at a young age. She joined Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise for a second chance at finding love after not finding it with Matt James.
She immediately formed a connection with Bachelorette Season 16 suitor Noah Erb. Her hearing loss didn’t play a role in their split, but what did Noah really think about dating a deaf person?
He appeared on Abigail’s Hear Me Out series. She asked her fiance if he was intimidated by her hearing loss or cochlear implant when they first started dating.
Noah candidly confessed to being a bit “nervous” about having a deaf partner. He explained, “I’m not deaf. I haven’t gone through my life having to use other means for communication and I just didn’t know what it would be like or what things I would have to change that I have no idea about.”
However, he kept an open mind about the situation. He said, “I was also very conscious with not having expectations of what it would be like to date a girl who is deaf. It is unknown; I didn’t want to fit you into a mold that I already made or had expectations for.”

Three years into their relationship, Abigail and Noah said that they have a balanced partnership. But there’s one aspect of dating a deaf person that still surprises him. What is it?
“How big of a deal it is, but also how it’s not,” Noah said. Abigail chimed in that they never really talk about how her deafness affects their relationship. “I don’t see us as one person’s disabled and the other is not,” she explained.
