Bachelor alum Blake Horstmann and Love is Blind alum Giannina Gibelli welcomed their first child together. The couple teased his birth over the weekend but there was no confirmation until Tuesday morning. Keep reading to find out all the exciting details about their new baby.
Blake Horstmann And Giannina Gibelli Welcome First Baby
Bachelor in Paradise alum Blake Horstmann and his gorgeous girlfriend Giannina Gibelli are parents. The two welcomed their first child together on Good Friday, March 29, 2024. The couple shared photos of their bundle of joy on social media. Along with multiple photos and even a video of Blake holding his son, they captioned the post saying,

meet Heath Orion Horstmann born on Good Friday 3/29/24 🦋 everyone is home happy and healthy — his pregnancy and birth were a dream come true ☁️

The couple teased his arrival over the weekend by sharing photos from a maternity photo shoot and said, “the butterflies in my belly turned into 2 tiny feet 👣”
On Tuesday morning the couple finally provided confirmation that their son made his debut.

More Details About His Birth
Giannina Gibelli spoke with US Weekly about the birth of her and Blake Horstmann’s son. She said, “Our baby is his father’s twin! There are so many similarities it’s adorable to see them light up in each other. As far as personality goes, he’s an Aries like his mama so we’ll see, he just might be the perfect mix of both of us.”
She had to “pivot” a little bit from her original birth plan but still managed to have the delivery she always dreamed of. She originally wanted to have an unmedicated birth but due to how her body was responding she had to deviate away from that a bit.
Giannina said, “I was very receptive to whatever would present itself. I had to pivot from a fully unmedicated birth due to how my body was reacting and I was still able to have the delivery I always wanted while taking control of the situation and advocating for myself every step of the way. I caught my baby, Blake cut the chord, it was the coolest, most empowering and most badass thing I’ve done in my entire life.”
She also said she enjoyed giving birth and even when it got tough she had a smile on her face. Plus, she said Blake was incredible while she was in labor. They took classes previously so he knew exactly what to do to comfort and calm her.
As for his name, she said, “We wanted his name to feel unique and meaningful, it’s a name that’s grounded in nature and his middle name is connected to strength, bravery and adventure. Giannina said when they said the name out loud they knew they made the right choice.
The couple is enjoying parenthood and couldn’t be more in love with their son. They have a good support system helping them 24/7 and are taking things day by day.
