From the start on this season of Farmer Wants A Wife Season 2, Makenzie Wayman made a strong first impression on farmer Nathan Smothers. The pair made a strong initial connection, and he chose her for the first big advantage, as she would arrive on the farm a full 24 hours ahead of the rest of the ladies. They were about to get their journey started on the right foot, but, unfortunately, real life came calling.
Makenzie had to bail on the farm to deal with a family emergency with her father. Sometimes, real life comes knocking, and you have no choice but to answer. The one major difference is, with Nathan bringing Makenzie back to the farm in current scenes, he brings back a familiar face rather than a complete stranger.

Things were stable enough with her father for Makenzie Wayman to return to the farm in Farmer Wants A Wife scenes. Unfortunately, Makenzie recently took to social media to share some devastating news with her many fans and followers.
Makenzie shared that her father passed. She said: “5 months of fighting. The hardest uphill fight I’ve ever seen, and I feel like that says a lot coming from me.”
Makenzie also included some poetic words in her tribute to her father, saying:
“I knew it was time to let you go when you spoke to me through the trees, it was time to give you back to the breeze. I’ll see you in the sunrises. In the hawks and the trees and the bees. In every outdoor memory you’ve given me. I’ll see you in the sunrises.”
Makenzie also shared a picture of her dad to go along with her words, showing him in happier and healthier times.
