Garrick Merrifield’s arrogance has gotten out of hand and viewers cannot handle it. They do not understand why his wife, Dannielle Merrifield sticks around. More so, they are not even legally married anymore as they divorced so he could marry a potential sister wife from Brazil. During all of this, their marriage was struggling but Garrick convinced her that God called him to join polygamy which she did not care for. Yet, she put all of her fears aside, prayed, and followed her husband, as seen on Seeking Sister Wife.

Fans have felt awful for Dannielle and wondered why she sticks around this toxic marriage. Now, upon further reevaluation, it has become clear that Dannielle is Garrick’s enabler. She feeds his ego so much that he believes he can get these young, beautiful women. Recently, a Reddit thread was started to address this. It started with this:

The OP went on to say that as bad as Garrick is, Dannielle is pretty close. She is the one who feeds his ego and makes him believe he can have these women, not God. It was also noted that he probably doesn’t even like Dannielle but stays because it is convenient. More so, it was alluded that Dannielle also did a number on Roberta by bringing in Lea last season to make her look jealous.

Therefore, Dannielle would look far more sane as her jealousy issues were well-known and quite a struggle. This season, it appears that she will leave Garrick but discovers something shocking causing her to return. It is predicted she is pregnant which is a whole other can of worms.

Is Dannielle His Enabler?
