Kaitlyn Bristowe has had major upheaval in her life in the last year. Rumors swirled in the spring of 2023 that her relationship with Jason Tartick was over. The two got engaged in 2021 after two years of dating.
After staying silent for months, Kaitlyn and Jason confirmed in August that they ended their relationship after four years together. Jason subsequently moved out of their shared Nashville home. Neither have specifically said what caused the split, though Kaitlyn did drop some hints.
The two are still connected through their dogs, Ramen and Pinot. Jason and Kaitlyn adopted the Golden Retrievers during their relationship. Neither wanted to give up their furry friends, so they established a co-parenting schedule for the pups.
But it seems they weren’t able to come to a custody agreement over one of their closest friends. A fan asked Kaitlyn Bristowe during a recent Q&A for clarity on what ended her friendship with Lo.
Kaitlyn was reluctant to spill too much tea. She replied that she’s still processing “a lot” about her former friend and asked her fans to respect that. However, she did add that there is “no hate” between the two.

Casual fans of Kaitlyn Bristowe may not know who Lo is. Bachelor Nation fans took to Reddit to discuss the end of Kaitlyn’s friendship. One fan suggested that Jason may have gotten Lo in the split.
So, who is Lo? Lo is Lo Von Rumph. He is a stylist with a huge social media following. He was a regular co-host on Kaitlyn’s Off The Vine podcast. However, the two had a falling out and are no longer friends.
One Bachelor Nation fan replied on Reddit to explain the situation. “Lo was Kaitlyn’s podcast cohost and friend. They were pretty close and Lo was also close with Jason at one point (not sure where they stand now). He was a huge part of the pod. The falling out was sudden and he just randomly stopped being in the episodes without any explanation. There’s probably someone who knows more than me bc I don’t actively keep up with KB but that’s the gist.”
Kaitlyn Bristowe may share more about the end of the friendship someday. She revealed on another Instagram Story slide that she’s working on a new book.
