Tamra Judge Subtly Slams Shannon Beador’s DUI Case
Tamra Judge took the opportunity to slam her RHOC co-star and former friend, Shannon Beador’s DUI case. Beador was arrested back in September 2023 for a DUI hit and run which has since been resolved. Yet, with another Bravoleb dealing with a DUI, this has since resurfaced and it looks like Tamra took the time to bring it back up. Keep reading for more details.
Tamra Judge Subtly Slams Shannon Beador’s DUI Case
When Shannon Beador was arrested for a DUI hit and run, there was a lot that went into it all. She had her dog, Archie in the car with her and that made zero sense. Furthermore, she pretended she was walking Archie but was soon caught. Shannon later claimed she was always cautious and took rides but went to see her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. Though she was tipsy, the ride was so minimal, that she opted to drive which she now knows was a bad idea. She was also doing an improv show with her RHOC co-stars Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge.
Judge had ultimately opted out of the ‘Tres Amigas’ shows due to scheduling conflicts. Additionally, she felt that the timing was wrong given what Beador was going through. Gunvalson was not happy with Judge leaving them and called her a “traitor.” This was perfect as she was starring in Season 2 of The Traitors. Now, Karen Huger of The Real Housewives of Potomac just got a DUI. This was brought up on Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, Two Ts In A Pod podcast.

According to Reality Tea, Tamra Judge inquired: “What do you think Bravo should do with housewives that get DUIs?” Teddi answered: “I don’t think somebody should necessarily be fired for making a mistake like that.” Tamra then pondered: “What if they’re not getting help? And what if they’re still drinking?” That was when Teddi had this response: “I think that if somebody is getting to a place where they could hurt themselves or other people…That is a problem but it’s not necessarily your boss’ job to handle it.”
Indirect Hit
Despite not directly saying Shannon Beador’s name, her drinking has been an issue for quite some time. Furthermore, it is clear that she is the only other current Bravoleb, aside from Huger, who has a DUI. Tamra Judge did not have to name names for listeners to know who she was referring to. After seeing this clip, RHOC fans had thoughts about Tamra and they were not the kindest:
- Tamara needs to be put back on pause.
- Really Tamara shouldn’t have been invited back.
- I wonder if Tamra gets tired of supporting her bum husband
They were also very aware that she was referring to Shannon who was recently sued by her ex, John Janssen for $75K. Only time will tell how her DUI and the John drama will affect Season 18.
