Alexis Bellino Hints At Engagement

DirectTV hosted a party for the Oscars, and reality stars came out in full force. Stars from the Bachelor franchise and Bravo reality shows attended the event. Among the attendees were Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino and John Janssen. Alexis is rumored to return for the upcoming season now that she’s dating long-time cast member Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John.

Page Six caught up with Alexis on the red carpet. The couple avoided questions about how Shannon was handling their romance, telling the reporter that was a question for Shannon. However, they were more forthcoming about their future together.

Alexis said that fans could “probably” expect the couple to jump from a promise ring to an engagement ring. John gave Alexis a promise ring over the Christmas holiday after just a few months of dating.

John Janssen and Shannon Beador dated for three years but never talked about engagement. They never even lived together! So, it’s completely understandable if she’s having a hard time with her ex moving on so quickly. However, that doesn’t excuse her DUI arrest in September. The reality star vowed to quit drinking.

Fans think that Shannon may have fallen off the wagon amid news of Alexis and John’s possible marriage. A rumor was posted online that Shannon was spotted causing a scene at a bar.

“Shannon Beador at R&D Kitchen gets call from someone telling her John Janssen is at an Oscar party walking red carpet. Shannon starts screaming and is visibly angry and storms out. She Ubered to the mall and was drinking a cocktail by herself,” the gossip item claimed.

Fans Concerned For The RHOC Star

Despite the claim that Shannon was screaming, the only “proof” of the incident was a photo of the RHOC star sitting at a restaurant bar, looking at her cell phone. That is a small glass in front of her that could possibly have alcohol. But at this point, the allegation she was boozing and acting wild is pure speculation.

Bravoholics took to Reddit to share their reaction to the photo:

  • Surely, there are more eligible bachelors in the OC than JJ. He seems crabby to me, like he’d get annoyed easily. Not very much fun.
  • One thing about Shannon is she generally doesn’t run from interpersonal conflict. She’s one who’s gonna show up at a lunch or a party and start waving hands and shrieking. I don’t think she’ll take this John and Alexis b.s. laying down.
  • I don’t even really like Shannon, but the thirsty-ness from John and Alexis is off-putting and tacky. They both did Shannon dirty. I’ll never root for those two.
  • I have always rooted for Shannon, and while I do not think she has always handled certain situations well, I do not wish a downfall upon her. I’d like to see her get her sh*t together and thrive on her own without a man.
  • I want her to be ok because I want Archie to be ok.
