However, Justin Hartley’s own wife, Sofia Pernas, couldn’t stand to watch it. Why?

This Is Us had a successful six-season run from 2016 to 2022. In addition to having a stellar cast, including the likes of Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, and more, the story captivated audiences all throughout its time on the air.
Even now, the rewatch value of This Is Us has no limit, as people who followed the show from start to finish still go back and rewatch the series. One of the other things it did was allow Justin Hartley to break out of his soap opera past and be exposed to a much wider audience as a result, and that move has worked out extremely well for him.
Surprising Reason Justin Hartley’s Wife Wouldn’t Watch His Hit Show
When you land a starring role on such a big show, you’d think that no one would be more supportive of that than your spouse. However, according to Justin Hartley’s wife, Sofia Pernas, she didn’t watch her husband in This Is Us.
According to Sofia Pernas, who is a successful actor in her own right, she wouldn’t watch her husband’s hit show. She added that it was too much for her. She at least gave it the old college try and watched the first season. From that point on, though, she said: “I don’t really like to emote much, so I couldn’t do it.”
Speaking to PEOPLE, Sofia Pernas went on: “It pulled too many heartstrings for me. Dan Fogelman is too good and the cast is too good. I couldn’t.”
Husband And Wife Reunite For Justin Hartley’s New Show
Justin Hartley now stars in another popular show, Tracker. Hartley plays Colter Shaw, a survivalist and tracker who helps track down both bad guys and innocent people, for a fee.
Pernas will also co-star in a Tracker episode with her husband, as she compared working with him on the same projects to “riding a bike.” When they spend time together at both work and at home, they don’t seem to be sick of each other just yet, and that’s certainly a good thing.
Unlike This Is Us, odds are good that the pair will be able to watch this Tracker episode together. Either way, it doesn’t seem to bother Justin Hartley that his wife had to pass on viewing This Is Us, as it helped broaden his career, and his new show is a direct result of that.

Sadly I agree with his wife. However I love the Tracker and I hope it continues for a long time.. Justin has an amazing role in that.
