HGTV premiered the new spinoff House Hunters: All Stars on March 21 with back-to-back episodes. The original show’s been around for nearly a quarter century, but the new spinoff, which sticks with the format comes with a twist. Here’s what you need to know.

Teen Mom Fans Got A Surprise In House Hunters: All Stars

MTV viewers know that Chelsea and Cole DeBoer moved on and got their show, Down Home Fab. When the HGTV spinoff aired, the second episode of the back-to-back opener revealed the former Teen Mom stars on the reality TV spinoff. Before them, viewers saw Mina Starsiak Hawk from Good Bones meeting the needs of an artistic client in Indianapolis.

House Hunters: All Stars brings 12 episodes on HGTV, each with familiar faces. According to Collider, initially, there wasn’t a trailer for the reality TV show, but a tiny teaser arrived ahead of the premiere. The outlet reported on other cast members. They include stars “Galey Alix from In a Heartbeat, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas of Bargain Block, [and] Heather Rae El Moussa of The Flipping El Moussas.”

The lineup of stars put together by HGTV includes a lot of experts with combined knowledge to satisfy almost anyone looking for their own home. Look out for Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt from 100 Day Dream Home, and Unsellable Houses stars Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb. Then, there’s Rico León of Rico to the Rescue.

Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson of Married to Real Estate operate in the Atlanta, Georgia area.  Meanwhile, Page Turner of Fix My Flip is in LA, California. Also in the area, House Hunters: All Stars viewers will see Veronica Valencia Hughes from Revealed.

A First For Superfans

HGTV reported that Loren Ruch, head of content loved the idea of superfans being able to hunt for properties with the best of the stars. In a statement about the show produced by Pie Town Productions, he said:

For the first time ever, House Hunters fans are getting the star treatment, teaming up with their favorite HGTV experts to lead the hunt…we were inspired to marry the successful format with our incredible lineup of talent in this new iteration of the series. Now we can enjoy all the things we love about House Hunters as the network’s stars get buyers into their perfect home.

The show airs on HGTV on Thursdays at 8:30 pm ET/PT and you can also watch it on MAX.
