Bachelor Producers Edited Rose Ceremony For Drama?

On last week’s episode of The Bachelor, Joey Graziadei had to choose which two contestants will move on to the final rose ceremony. Rachel Nance, Daisy Kent, and Kelsey Anderson all had overnight dates with Joey before his major decision. He chose to send Rachel home, but it seems Bachelor producers tried to pull a fast one on viewers for drama. What happened?

The episode that aired on ABC showed Daisy receiving Joey’s first rose and the second going to Kelsey. However, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a discrepancy in who really got the first rose. According to the fan, one rose was visible on the table next to Joey when he gave Kelsey her rose. Why would they edit the order?

TV Line speculated that it was to keep fans guessing over who gets his final rose in the next episode. According to TV Line, “Often on The Bachelor, the leading man will give his first rose to the girl he’s most sure about, allowing for maximum drama as the roses dwindle down.”

So, Bachelor producers may have changed the order in editing to keep fans guessing over who Joey Graziadei chooses. If the TV Line theory holds, Joey gave the first rose that night to Kelsey Anderson, indicating that she will also be the final rose winner. Online spoilers from blogger Reality Steve indicate that Kelsey Anderson does get Joey’s final rose.

Fan Shares Proof

One Bachelor Nation fan took to Reddit to see if anyone else noticed the editing mistake. They shared a screenshot of the rose ceremony error.

And no, they weren’t the only ones who caught it. Check out some of the comments:

  • When will people realize that the entire show is manipulated?
  • The fact that they have to keep coming up with stuff to create suspense makes me feel like Joey and Kelsey are perfect for each other bc of the lack of drama lol
  • I’d rather watch a show knowing everything is correct/true than watch fabricated/manipulated storylines even if it’s a lot more boring. Like that’s the whole point of reality tv
  • This show is so controlled I wouldn’t be surprised if they filmed two different versions of a rose ceremony. If anyone truly believed Kelsey wrote that note I have some swamp land to sell you .
  • I saw that!! I feel like Kelsey’s going to win. However, I feel like they’re trying to trick us to think it’s Daisy.
  • Hot take: they edited this way bc they knew people Would catch on and it would confuse people and cause more drama and talk.

Did you notice the rose on still on the table when Joey gave Kelsey a rose? Do you think the editors messed up? Sound off in the comments.
