Her daughter, Savannah, left to stay with her uncle after a big fight. Savannah continues to refuse to live back with her mom because she is embarrassed by her weight. This fuels Delana’s desire to turn her life around in the hopes of winning her daughter’s heart back.

Delana’s Weight Loss Journey In The Show

It was a rocky journey for Delana during her time with Dr. Now. She was tasked with losing 50 pounds to qualify for bariatric surgery. However, the My 600-lb Life star ended up gaining five pounds. But the setback motivated her even more. Eventually, Delana Boyer got approved for the surgery at 578 pounds. At the time of her procedure, she was 539 lbs and had regained her ability to walk even better.
