Thomas Ravenel Is Mourning Major Loss In Family
Thomas Ravenel is mourning the loss of his big brother, William. William had Down Syndrome and was a very special person to Thomas. Ravenel is not taking the loss easy and is posting about his brother on social media to let people know how amazing he was. He is preceded in death by his parents as well. However, He has four siblings who are still alive, and they are leaning on each other to work through this hard time.
Thomas Ravenel Lets People Know William
Thomas Ravenel wants people to get to know William and how special he was. He posted on social media about it.
“My brother William was the best person I knew, completely guileless, an angel unaware, i remember asking Dad if he could have any wish in the world what would it be. I’ll never forget his response. It was that William would have been born normal. But he was born special. Regardless of how we felt at any given moment, if any of his siblings was sad, he’d be sad alongside us. If we were happy and laughing he’d contribute to our laughter as well. He was all about making us feel special.”
William Passes Away
Thomas revealed that his brother was going to be buried in between his mother and father. When he passed, he made a post about it.
“RIP To my dear brother William Ravenel. (1/23/1959–3/15/2024). Having Downs Syndrome he lived much longer than expected. Still, it’s hard to accept,” the former Bravo star wrote. “He was the second to the youngest and I was the youngest so we were the closest in age and he was my playmate during my toddler years. I loved him and wanted everyone else to love him too.”
This was heartbreaking for people to hear and fans are praying for him and healing. However, Thomas is going to continue to mourn the loss of his brother and his world will never be the same without him.

It seems as though Thomas thought highly of his brother and is going to miss him greatly. Although it is also rumored that Thomas will be returning to Southern Charm for the next season. However, this is going to be a hard thing for viewers to watch if it gets filmed. However, Ravenel is going to continue to honor his brother and let people know how special he was.
