Has NCIS: Sydney been renewed for Season 2? This new hit CBS military procedural series was the biggest hit of the fall 2023 broadcast season. This was the first international NCIS spinoff.

Originally, this spinoff was destined for Paramount+. However, as the strikes prevented CBS from making new episodes, they patched up a new schedule of primarily game shows and moved this series to CBS. The result was a surprisingly huge hit for the network.

Therefore, has this Aussie-based series been renewed for Season 2?

NCIS Universe Now Includes Five Series

NCIS: Sydney is no longer the new series in this incredible franchise. Since it premiered in the Fall of 2023, CBS has announced NCIS: Origins. This is a new spinoff prequel, focusing on Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his early days in the agency. This series is narrated by Mark Harmon and was created by Mark and his son Sean Harmon. This will be airing on CBS sometime in the fall.

Most recently, they have announced a Tony and Ziva spinoff that still does not have a name. Currently nicknamed NCIS: Europe, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are set to reprise their roles as they try to rebuild trust in their relationship while figuring out who is trying to kill them. This will be streaming on Paramount+ later in the year.

NCIS: Sydney fans, are you glad that this spinoff has been renewed?
